Victor Paulus is Vice President (VP) and Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at HOOKIPA. Victor has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and over 20 in Regulatory Affairs. Before joining HOOKIPA, Victor was Global Head of Regulatory Affairs for the Geneva-based Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), a Novartis Company. While at AAA Victor achieved two product approvals (Gallium Ga68 dotatate and Lutetium Lu177 dotatate) for the diagnosis and treatment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). During the course of his career, he served as Director of Regulatory Affairs for Pediatric Vaccines at GlaxoSmithKline and Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs for Biogeneneric drug development at Dr. Reddy’s. While at Organon, served as in-house consultant for Nobilon, the vaccine division of Akzo Nobel. Victor began his career as a laboratory technician at the Salk Institute manufacturing vaccines for the US Army. He then managed a cell culture laboratory at Centocor before becoming Manager of viral vaccine production at what is now Sanofi Pasteur. He was also Manager of Regulatory Affairs for a virtual company, MCM (Merck-Connaught-Merieux), developing novel combination pediatric vaccines. Victor has BSc degrees in Biology and Biochemistry, an MSc n biology (parasitology) and a PhD in public health.
