Senior Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist - People & Organization (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire recruiting process for identified positions from definition of market approach to successful placement for our offices in Vienna and New York
  • Work closely with hiring managers, understand their requirements and align as needed, while providing regular updates on progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure the best possible candidate experience, working closely with hiring managers, candidates, People & Organization Team and other stakeholders
  • Cooperate with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, job boards, etc. and internally with communications, purchasing, finance and legal to ensure a smooth process
  • Assist the Head of People & Organization with coordination of executive search projects
  • Support all administrative onboarding tasks for new hires, including data entry into HR Management systems
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for different functional areas and job levels, build pipelines of potential candidates
  • Represent HOOKIPA at job fairs and recruitment events, organize activities and involve colleagues
  • Contribute to implementing strategies for people growth and development within HOOKIPA
  • Support the implementation of a Recruiting System, establish and maintain functional specifications, propose process- and system improvements as needed


  • University degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of end-to-end international recruiting experience incl. executive search exposure, preferably in the life sciences industry  
  • Excellent organizational and people skills, open-minded and flexible personality
  • High level of discretion, sensitivity  and professionalism in resolving issues
  • Collaborative, accurate and structured working style
  • Ability to think cross-functionally
  • At ease in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Fluency in German and English (both orally and written)
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Affinity with recruiting systems, e.g SAP SuccessFactors

We are required by Austrian law to post a minimum salary. The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is EUR 3.233,-- based on fulltime (40 hours per week); depending on experience and qualification salary can be negotiated. In addition, we offer a performance-related bonus payment and participation in our stock option compensation program.
